Synopsis
Suzu Urano moves to Kure, Hiroshima, in 1944 to live with her husband's family during the height of World War II. What begins as a quiet relocation quickly turns into a struggle for survival when the town is targeted by wartime violence. As the landscape falls into ruin, Suzu must find ways to endure the surrounding devastation and loss. Amidst the chaos of the bombings, she focuses on rebuilding her life through strength and the connections she maintains with those around her.
