Synopsis

Maquia is an immortal Iorph weaver who flees her homeland after a dragon attack destroys her village and separates her from her people. While wandering through human lands, she discovers and adopts an orphaned infant named Ariel. As she raises him, their bond deepens across the decades, even as racial tensions rise between their two cultures. Maquia must face the reality of a changing world and the inevitable passage of time while navigating the complexities of motherhood and her own isolation.
