Synopsis
Rei Kiriyama lives a solitary existence defined by his mastery of shogi. While his talent brings him success, it also isolates him from those around him. As he begins to form connections with the Kawamoto sisters, he must simultaneously contend with a cutthroat professional community and the harsh realities of school bullying. These shifting relationships force Rei to find a balance between his competitive drive and his need for human connection, testing his resilience both on and off the board.
