Synopsis
Shoya Ishida lives in isolation, haunted by the memory of how he bullied his deaf classmate, Shoko Nishimiya, out of school years ago. The guilt of his past actions has left him disconnected from those around him. Seeking to make amends, he tracks Shoko down to face the consequences of his behavior and ask for her forgiveness. This confrontation forces him to confront the damage caused by his cruelty while attempting to rebuild a broken connection.
