Synopsis
Natsume Takashi sees supernatural creatures known as youkai. Alongside his feline companion, Madara, he works to return names written in his ancestral Book of Friends to their original owners. As Natsume travels through his village and surrounding areas, he encounters a wide range of spirits, from friendly entities to dangerous adversaries. These interactions force him to confront the complexities of his unique ability and the shifting bonds he shares with the mystical beings he meets.
