Initially mistaking Takashi Natsume for the late Reiko Natsume, this forest-born Youkai seeks the return of his stolen name. Though his name remains absent from the Book of Friends due to Reiko’s past pranks, Natsume tirelessly works to clear the misunderstanding despite physical exhaustion. Trapped by the belief that he cannot leave his woodland home, Kirinoha harbors a quiet, unfulfilled longing to experience the ocean, a dream once shared with Reiko during her lifetime.
