Synopsis
Akito was a simple cook on Mars until a sudden displacement sent him to Earth. Left with nothing after his home was destroyed, he joins the crew of the private battleship Nadesico under Captain Yurika. While he initially serves as the ship's chef, hidden nanite implants within his body allow him to pilot mechas. Now, alongside an eccentric group of skilled pilots, Akito must use these unexpected abilities to face a growing conflict and confront the reality of his new life.
