Synopsis
Gintoki Sakata lives in a version of feudal Japan that has been conquered by extraterrestrial invaders. Since the new regime outlawed swordsmanship, the former samurai survives by taking odd jobs in a crowded metropolis filled with alien businesses and yakuza gangs.
