Synopsis

Tetsuzo is a renowned artist living in the bustling heart of Edo. His home serves as both a residence and a studio where he produces works of vastly different scales, from massive canvases to tiny paintings on grains of rice. Though he possesses immense talent, he is known more for his sharp tongue and lack of interest in wealth than his fame. His daughter, O-Ei, shares his artistic skill and stubborn spirit as she finds her own place within their demanding professional lives.
