Synopsis

Wisteria survives on the streets of 19th-century London by scavenging for food and using her ability to see demons hiding in human form. She eventually forms an alliance with Marbas, an immortal being who has endured centuries of solitude. Their flight from danger is complicated by Wisteria's brother, a knight belonging to the powerful Sword Cross order. As they attempt to find a way to coexist, they remain unaware of the heavy price required to bridge their two worlds.
