Madara

Madara is a feline spirit who takes the form of a maneki neko after being released from a shrine by Natsume. Natsume calls him Nyanko-sensei. This powerful spirit protects Natsume and occasionally teaches him spells, provided Natsume promises to give him the Book of Friends upon his death. While their interactions can be heated, Madara enjoys playing with cat toys and has earned Natsume's growing respect through their shared adventures.
