Synopsis
Kira Yamato lives on the neutral colony of Heliopolis, a peaceful settlement caught between the warring factions of Naturals and Coordinators. When a ZAFT unit infiltrates the colony to seize advanced mobile suits, Kira is left with the abandoned Strike. Forced into combat to protect his friends, he realizes his childhood friend Athrun Zala is leading the attack. After joining the Earth Alliance to defend his home, Kira must pilot the Strike while facing enemies who were once his closest allies.
