Bansai Kawakami

Bansai Kawakami is an elite swordsman and assassin serving within the Kiheitai faction. While he often presents a tranquil facade-frequently wearing sunglasses and headphones to maintain a detached demeanor-he possesses a bloodthirsty nature driven by a desire for conflict. He uses his shamisen as both a musical instrument and a lethal weapon in combat. Outside of his role as a fighter, he is a gifted songwriter working under the pseudonym "Tsunpo," producing modern hits for the singer Otsu.
