Synopsis
The remnants of the Shinsengumi return to Edo following their defeat at Toba-Fushimi. As the Meiji Era begins, these former warriors find themselves caught in a continuous power struggle against the rising forces of the new government. Internal divisions threaten to fracture the group even as they fight to protect what remains of their legacy. Amidst the political turbulence of a changing Japan, the survivors must contend with both external enemies and their own splintering loyalties.
