Toshizou Hijikata

Serving as the disciplined second-in-command under Isami Kondou, this Shinsengumi lieutenant embodies maturity and a strict sense of duty. While he maintains a protective, respectful nature toward women like Chizuru, he often finds himself irritated by the playful antics of his longtime comrade, Souji Okita. Despite their frequent bickering, the deep bond shared between these two veteran members remains much stronger than their connection to the rest of the Shinsengumi force.
