Synopsis
Mikako leaves her partner, Noboru, behind to join a desperate military defense against an alien invasion in 2046. While she fights in deep space, her body remains frozen, shielded from the passage of time. Back on Earth, years turn into decades for Noboru as he waits for news that never comes. As time moves forward for him, the physical and temporal gap between the two lovers grows wider, testing the endurance of their connection across the void.
