Synopsis
Asuka lies critically injured after SEELE launches an unprecedented attack against NERV. Amidst this collapse of the final line of defense, Shinji struggles to cope with severe mental trauma. The situation descends into surreal horror as the psychological toll of the conflict intensifies. Faced with an otherworldly threat and existential dread, the remnants of humanity must confront the wreckage of their own psyche to survive the approaching end.
