Synopsis
Makoto and his comrades fight through constant loss, facing death both as witnesses and as targets. These young warriors are not motivated by any greater cause or external salvation, but by a simple, personal drive to win. Every struggle they endure is fueled by the hope that peace exists somewhere beyond the battlefield. Despite the overwhelming odds stacked against them, they continue their advance, driven entirely by their own determination to survive the conflict.
