Synopsis
Satoko is a noblewoman living on borrowed time, her life cut short by a terminal illness. As her health fades, she targets the assassin Shinpei with a desperate proposal of marriage to secure her remaining days. Shinpei, however, is bound by strict personal principles that make such an arrangement difficult. This forced union creates a tense struggle between Satoko's need for survival and Shinpei's rigid code of conduct, complicating their lives as death approaches.
