Synopsis
Nagate Tanikaze lives aboard the Sidonia, one of many massive seed ships drifting through space. A thousand years after an alien race called the Gauna devastated the solar system, humanity survives only within these colossal floating cities. As a young pilot, Nagate is trained to command Garde robots to defend the ship from incoming attacks. He must pilot these machines into direct combat against the Gauna to protect the remaining human population from extinction.
