Synopsis
Chika Ogiue joins the Genshiken club at the start of the new academic year, much to the surprise of the existing members. Originally assigned by the Manga Club, she arrives with a blunt declaration of her disdain for otaku culture. Her presence introduces a friction that forces the group to confront their own identities and habits. As the club attempts to recruit new members, Ogiue's outsider perspective sparks debates regarding modern visual culture and the boundaries of fandom.
