Kanji Sasahara

Serving as the third president of the Genshiken club, this once-reserved student eventually embraces his otaku identity. Though he initially struggled with his interests, his leadership saw the club expand into Comic-Fest through dedicated dōjinshi production. While he presents as a relatively grounded fan, his intense devotion to the character Ritsuko Kübel Kettenkrad remains legendary. After stepping down to pursue a career as a manga editor, he continues to support Ogiue as both a romantic partner and a vital creative critic.
