Synopsis
Shizuma Orikasa spends his days pulling a rickshaw through the streets of Tokyo, still searching for his missing fiancée, Sumie Kanomata. The era of the samurai has passed, leaving former warriors to find new roles in a changing Japan. After Shizuma intervenes to stop an assassination attempt, he joins the city's police force. He now uses his combat training to hunt the shadowy figures threatening the new government while attempting to uncover the truth about Sumie's disappearance.
