Sumie Kanomata

This character is the sister of Shuragami's closest friend, who entrusted her to his care. She is a remarkable figure, having survived a horrific massacre of women committed by the samurai Masaomi Kuramoto during the Boshin War. Later, she adopted the persona of the geisha and assassin Hinazuru, driven by a deep desire for vengeance against the Meiji government for the atrocities of that conflict.
