Synopsis
High school student Light Yagami discovers a magical notebook capable of killing anyone whose name is written within it. Using this power, he begins systematically erasing criminals and corrupt officials to reshape society under his own sense of justice. This crusade attracts the attention of Ryuk, a Shinigami, who observes Light's descent into godhood. As deaths mount globally, Light must maintain his secret identity while navigating the chaos his actions have unleashed upon the world.
