Touta Matsuda

Touta Matsuda is the most outspoken member of the investigation task force. An enthusiastic but impulsive detective, he often struggles to maintain the seriousness required for the Kira case. While his lack of experience makes him appear less capable than his peers, his willingness to take dangerous risks makes him an indispensable asset to the team. He remains unwaveringly loyal to his mentor, Soichiro Yagami, yet Matsuda is unique in how he questions Kira’s morality, often finding himself sympathetic to those who support the killer's ideology.
