Synopsis
Kaoru Nishimi moves from Yokosuka to Kyushu in 1966 to live with relatives. His quiet life changes after meeting Sentaro Kawabuchi, a notorious delinquent at his new school. As they bond over an interest in jazz, Kaoru finds himself immersed in the local culture of this Americanized coastal town. Alongside friends like Ritsuko, Yurika, and Brother Jun, he experiences the highs and lows of adolescence while learning to play music.
