Synopsis
Hijikata and Nagakura arrive in the remote town of Barato, forming a temporary alliance with the Hidoro clan to track tattooed convicts hiding in the area. While they hunt for intelligence, Ogata works alongside Kusuda Umakichi to manipulate the local police chief into joining their scheme. This coordination between criminals and authority figures creates an unstable environment, setting the stage for a violent confrontation within the settlement.
