Yuuichirou Kumada

Often recognized by his English moniker, Chad Holdenford, this scruffy-looking young man serves as a helper at the Hikawa Shrine. Despite his persona as a struggling musician with a laid-back, surfer-style attitude, he actually comes from an incredibly wealthy family. After falling instantly in love with Rei Hino during a skiing trip to his family's mountain lodge, he moved to the shrine to stay close to her. He remains a devoted protector, staying faithful to Rei despite her lack of romantic reciprocation.
