Izumi Curtis

Izumi Curtis serves as a mentor to the Elric brothers, using a brutal training regimen centered on martial arts and survival skills. While she views Edward and Alphonse as her own sons, her stern and often violent teaching style keeps them in constant fear. Driven by the physical toll of a failed human transmutation, she eventually joins forces with Hohenheim to oppose the corrupt State Military.
