Lust is the "Ultimate Spear," a Homunculus who serves as a primary antagonist and master manipulator. She functions as an intelligence gatherer, orchestrating schemes to manufacture Philosopher's Stones while maintaining a protective, motherly bond with Gluttony. While she holds a deep disdain for the perceived weaknesses of humanity, her character arc explores a complex longing to achieve true human existence, driven by her high intelligence and authority among her kin.
