Katakuriko Matsudaira

Serving as a high-ranking government official under the Bakufu, this volatile Police Superintendent oversees the Shinsengumi and acts as Kondo Isao’s direct superior. Known as the "God of Destruction," he prefers solving conflicts through massive explosions and heavy weaponry. Though he frequently accompanies Shogun Tokugawa Shigezumi to various nightlife spots, he remains a deeply eccentric figure with bizarre superstitions. Despite his violent, womanizing tendencies and chaotic lifestyle, he is fiercely protective of his daughter, Kuriko.
