Otose

Otose is the landlady of the Kabuki District and one of its four ruling "emperors." A heavy smoker, she holds significant power in the area, though much of her time is spent clashing with her tenant, Gintoki, over his unpaid rent. Despite these disputes, they share a deep bond built on a promise of protection. While she maintains a tough exterior, she has a history of feeding orphans and possesses sharp martial reflexes capable of deflecting unexpected attacks.
