Tachikoma

Tachikoma are intelligent, spider-like combat vehicles serving as multi-leg tanks in the Ghost in Shell: Stand Alone Complex universe. Though built for heavy warfare with machine guns and thermoptic camouflage, these blue, car-sized units possess surprisingly playful, childlike personalities. While they function as elite mobile weapons platforms for Section 9, their individual AIs undergo nightly synchronization to share a collective consciousness. This allows them to move through complex terrains with extreme agility while maintaining a shared, evolving memory.
