Kaede Rukawa

Kaede Rukawa is the ace small forward for Shohoku. While he is known for an aloof personality and a tendency to nap whenever possible, his talent on the court earned him "super-rookie" status. He maintains a fierce rivalry with Sakuragi, though his primary competitive focus remains defeating Sendoh. After transitioning from a selfish playing style to a more team-oriented approach, Rukawa eventually earned a spot on the prestigious All-Japan basketball team.
