Hanamichi Sakuragi

Hanamichi Sakuragi is a 189.2 cm power forward defined by an immense, athletic build. He originally joined the Shohoku basketball team solely to impress Akari Haruko, and as a complete beginner, he initially struggled with frequent fouls and a lack of technical skill. Through intense dedication, he transformed into an elite rebounder and a vital part of the roster. His development is marked by high-stakes plays, such as his dunk against Ryonan and a buzzer-beater against Sannoh. Although an injury sustained during the Sannoh match was a setback, it helped him realize his true passion for the sport, driving his commitment to winning alongside his teammates.
