Serving as the team's dedicated manager, this strong-willed and tomboyish individual plays a pivotal role in honing Hanamichi’s fundamental basketball skills. Though she possesses a balanced disciplinary approach, she remains largely indifferent to Ryota’s obvious romantic advances throughout most of the series. While Ryota affectionately calls her "Aya-chan," their bond is defined by a unique closeness. Her effective training methods and good-natured personality earn her immense respect, even from the most boisterous players on the squad.
