Sougo Okita

Sougo Okita is the Shinsengumi’s most skilled swordsman. Though he maintains a playful, childish exterior, he possesses a deadpan personality and a sadistic streak. His combat style involves both masterful swordsmanship and the use of bazookas. While he is driven by a desire to usurp Hijikata's position as Vice-Commander-largely due to a rivalry over Mitsuba’s affection-his primary motivation is protecting his sister. Despite his violent nature and competitive friction with rivals like Kagura, he remains deeply loyal to his mentor, Kondo.
