Kyoshi

Kyoshi is a 30-year-old recluse living in the Land of Visible Pain, where he spends most of his time tending to gardens of flowers and herbs. When visitors like Kino and Hermes encounter him, they find a skilled craftsman capable of building fine furniture from scratch. Years of isolation have left him fearful of people, yet he eventually opens up through conversation. He reveals that his decision to take his country's evolutionary medicine caused a breakdown in his social ties, including the loss of his lover.
