Reki serves as the de facto leader of Old Home, acting as a source of strength and compassion for her community. She balances a tough exterior with genuine care for the young Haibane and vulnerable New Feathers, especially Rakka. Reki's bond with Rakka is particularly deep, rooted in the moment she discovered Rakka's cocoon and stayed by her side through the difficult wing-growing process. While a complex history lies beneath her cheerful facade, her resilience and dependability have earned her the respect of all the Haibane.
