Rakka

Rakka is the central protagonist of Haibane Renmei, a newcomer struggling to find her footing within the mysterious world of Glie. She forms deep, affectionate bonds with the other residents at Old Home, but she is haunted by the loss of her past identity and family. Driven by a dream-inspired connection to local birds, she seeks to understand her existence as a Haibane while adapting to her surroundings.
