Sasafune

First appearing during Takashi’s study trip to a local inn, this mysterious mermaid shares a complicated history with the proprietor, Chizu Sakanaka. Having known Chizu since the latter's childhood, she harbors deep-seated resentment toward her. She believes Chizu exploited their past connection to steal her mermaid blood, a legendary substance rumored to grant eternal life to anyone who consumes it.
