Roufujin

An elderly, compassionate woman and early client of Kiki, she first appears when requesting a herring pie delivery for her granddaughter’s birthday celebration. After a broken electric oven prevents her from baking, she compensates Kiki for assisting with wood-fire preparations and various household tasks. Despite Kiki’s hardworking efforts to complete the delivery through a rainstorm, the experience becomes bittersweet when the granddaughter's lack of appreciation leaves the young witch feeling deeply disheartened.
