Synopsis
Yawara Inokuma wants nothing more than a normal high school life filled with typical teenage interests. However, her grandfather Jigorou, a former champion, recognizes a hidden talent for judo within her. He uses various schemes to push her into competitive tournaments and matches. While Yawara deals with the pressures of sudden fame and budding romance, Jigorou remains focused on a single goal: training her to become an Olympic gold medalist and a national hero.
