Synopsis
Kenshin wanders through Japan as a man haunted by his former identity as the Hitokiri Battousai. Although he seeks redemption for the violence of his past, the memories of his life as an assassin prevent him from finding true peace. This internal struggle forces him to distance himself from those he cares about, most notably his wife, Kaoru. While she waits for his return, Kenshin must decide if he can ever truly escape his history and reconnect with her.
