Synopsis
A struggling Japanese high schooler attempts to redeem his failing history grade through a mandatory museum assignment. The task requires him to use a virtual reality simulation of the Edo period for make-up work, but the experience turns violent when he encounters supernatural entities known as the nue and the yakou. After losing sight in his left eye during the struggle, he is rescued by a girl named Kuchiha. He soon realizes he is no longer in a school simulation, but is actually trapped…
