Synopsis
Cloud and his former companions return to a world attempting to recover from the devastation of Sephiroth's defeat. A new threat has surfaced in the form of Geo-stigma, a mysterious and spreading illness. To stop this decay, the group must investigate the origins of Jenova, an ancient enemy long thought suppressed. This investigation forces old allies to confront forgotten secrets as they attempt to stabilize a planet still reeling from its past.
