Synopsis
Remy lives in a quiet French village until her father returns after years of absence to reveal she is not biologically related to her family. This revelation leaves her vulnerable to a slave trader, but she is rescued by Vitalis, an entertainer traveling with a troupe of performers. Recognizing her talent for singing, Vitalis brings her into his company. She finds refuge within the group, using music to leave her past behind as they move from place to place.
