Synopsis

Benio Hanamura is a seventeen-year-old tomboy living in 1918 Taisho Japan. Alongside her loyal friends Tamaki and Ranmaru, she spends her days climbing trees and competing in kendo matches. While her family expects her to follow traditional paths, Benio pursues her own version of independence and seeks out love on her own terms. As wartime tensions begin to rise around them, she must face new challenges that test her courage and her bonds with those closest to her.
