Synopsis
Araki is a veteran editor at Tokyo's Genbu Shobou publishing house, looking for a successor before he retires. He chooses Majime Mitsuya, a socially awkward salesman who possesses an incredible command of the Japanese language. With the unintentional help of his boisterous coworker Nishioka, Majime joins the editorial team. The group faces the grueling task of compiling "The Great Passage," a medium-sized dictionary that requires immense dedication and precision to complete.
